Sun and rain in Cardiff

"Hmm...what to do?" Brianne said as she looked out of the kitchen window. She drummed her fingers on the sill, looking and thinking. It was a beautiful day, yes, but her friends were busy with more....important manners...whatever it was. She finely decided to take a walk, maybe she could think of something then. Brianne grabbed her coat and put it on as she headed out the door, locking the door 1st as she closed it behind her.

The Doctor was running. And wasnt looking where he was going. It was no suprise when he ran head on into a woman, hitting the ground with a thud.

"Im so sorry! Here, let me help you up." He was soaked through but he didnt seem to mind as he helped the woman up.

"Im the Doctor, who are you?"

If there was one thing she wasn't expecting, it was a stranger running into her, Brianne fell on the ground. "What the?" she thought as she looked at the odd man who ran into her, saying he was "The Doctor" doctor what, she had no clue. "I'm Brianne, thanks." she said as he helped her up, "Why are you running? Late for something?" when she said that, the 1st thing that popped into her head was the imagine of the white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland saying he was late.

The Doctor made a face.

"Sort of. more running to and from while being late and being early too." he waved a hand. "Timey Wimey stuff." He smiled slightly and then looked behind her.

"Lovely to meet you Brianne by the way. Now if i were you, i would RUN!" The Doctor grabbed her hand and dragged her away as a large, bear like creature bounded around the corner.

At 1st when he said what he said, Brianne thought he was crazy. She had backed away with concern both for him and herself. Trying to ignore the funny feeling that someone was watching, Brianne was trying to think of an exscue to leave till he said for her to run, before she could question why, he grabbed hold of her hand and dragged her away...as a bear...err at less she thought it was a bear, bounded around the corner, "Oh my...what is going on?" She said as she looked back and ran, if only she didn't leave her house.

the Doctor was guiding her toward a bridge, still running full pelt.

"It's a Tripalan! They feed off life forms that have so much to do. Basicly, the ones with the really exciting lives." he shouted as he ran. "It's after me and my companion. Now also you." He reached the bridge and stopped, putting his hands on her shoulders and looking into her eyes.

"Now brianne, it's very important that you trust me now. Do you trust me?"

She didn't believe a word he was saying but she believed him when he said it was now after her but her life was not exciting, not even now, it was frightful. Brianne almost stumbled when he suddenly stopped and she notice they were at the bridge, then he said "Now Brianne, it's very important that you trust me now. Do you trust me?" That was one thing she wondered but before she could think about it, she said, "Alright." she said, kinda unnaturally calmly which freaked her out.

The Doctor grinned and looked closely at her. "Alright." the Tripalan was half way toward them now and the Doctor started speaking quickly.

"I want you to take this, count to fifteen and then press the button while aiming it at the Tripalan." He handed her the sonic screwdriver.

"Can you do that for me? Good." he grinned at her then ran toward the huge creature, guiding it away from Brianne.

Brianne barely heard what he said except for, "Count to 15, press the button." She had no clue what the...thing he handed her was but she didn't want to think of what the Tripalan bear thing would do if it got her so she started counting, "1, 2, 3, 4, 5." Brianne was wondering what he was doing and what this thing would do. When she counted to 15, she pressed the button while she aimed at the Tripalan, hoping whatever his plan was, it would work.

THe Triplan froze, writhing in agony, the Doctor too had fallen to the ground in pain. He looked up at Brianne.

"Keep hold of it till we're both out!" he shouted then shouted in pain. His hands were pressed to his head, trying to calm the pain. He had to hold on to make sure that the Triplan would definately be out. Everything around him started melting together into one, horrid colour before his eyes closed and he passed out, a whole minute after the sonic had been switched on.

The Triplan fell still a few seconds before the Doctor did.

Brianne almost ran to the odd man, The Doctor, when he fallen too but listened to him to keep holding it till they both were out, "Your completely mad!." She told herself, why she still was listen to him she didn't know but Brianne didn't want to take a chance. When finally both passed out, Brianne stood there, still holding the device then she dropped it cause her fingers felt num. "You ok?" she asked as she cautiously walked over, "Doctor?"

The Doctor's eyes snapped open and he looked at her, his breathing slightly fast.

"Ow. That hurts, remind me not to do that again." he said and jumped up.

"Im the Doctor! Did i mention that?" he said, getting into her face and grinning, his green eyes staring into hers.

"I've already told you that havent i?" he frowned. "Sonic pulse messed with the synapses. So!" he said and turned away, clapping his hands.

"Now to get the Triplan to the TARDIS to take it away!" he said and grinned at Brianne.

"Fancy coming along? Im sure you'd get along with Amy." he said looking closely at her again.

"What you think? new planet? New creatures? New ideas? Fancy a go?"

Brianne jumped when his eyes snapped open, she was worried he was hyperventilating. When he said to remind him never to do that again, she agreed very much so. "Didn't he already say he was the doctor?" she thought as she took a step back when he went into her face, he seemed...hyper and nutty. "The...what?" she said confused when he said he had to get to the TARDUS and was surprised he asked her to come. She knew there was something about him that wasn't human, she wanted to find out...no she needed to find out, "You want me to go with you?" she asked, making sure she heard right.

The Doctor nodded. "Yeah. Come with me. Amy'd like you... Your... different..." He said and grabbed her hand, pulling her toward the TARDIS.

"Come on, What have you got here?"

Brianne kinda felt like she was in a dream, half in her mind and half out. She only stared at him as he dragged her to the TARDIS, thinking, "What DO I have here?" She had no family or friends or a love...what was here for her, "Nothing..." she said.
